Chinese company Xiaomi Inc. attracted additional funds in the amount of $1.1 billion and remained the most expensive technology company in the world – it is estimated at $45 billion, writes The Globe and Mail.Alisher Usmanov is prepared to invest in India

Among investors Xiaomi Inc. – private foundations All-Stars Investment, Hopu Investment Management, Yunfeng Capital, the Singapore national welfare Fund GPKБ and Russian investment Fund DST Global. This was announced by the CEO lei Jun.

Over the last three years Xiaomi Inc. took the smartphone market third place after Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Apple, Inc. The market capitalisation of the company is almost three times that of Lenovo Group Ltd., the world’s largest manufacturer of personal computers, according to a canadian newspaper.

Russian investor Chinese companies Fund DST Global, the main owner is a businessman Alisher Usmanov, has previously expressed its intention to participate in the next round of funding Xiaomi.
