Court of arbitration for sport (CAS) in the next few days will announce its verdict on the appeal of the Spanish football club “Barcelona” on the decision of the International football Federation (FIFA) prohibiting the purchase of new players for two transfer periods, according to the CAS website.
FIFA upheld the ban on the purchase of Barcelona futbolistov 2 April announced that Barcelona is prohibited to register new players for two transfer periods. The investigation, which was carried out in the past year, revealed violations of the Catalan club and the Spanish football Federation for international transfers and legal registration of minors Legionnaires. Later Barcelona appealed the decision of FIFA to CAS.
Earlier it was reported that the decision on the appeal will be accepted CAS until the end of the year, however, the exact date of announcement of the verdict is not called.
