Any existing relief against Russia sanctions will be linked with the full implementation of the Minsk agreement on Ukraine, said the official representative of the Prime Minister of the UK, commenting on the results of yesterday’s conference with leaders of several EU countries and the USA.
“They discussed the next steps that should make the parties, and agreed that any easing of existing sanctions will be linked with the full implementation of these agreements,” said the spokesman for Downing street.
Participation in negotiations took French President Francois Hollande, President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Prime Ministers of great Britain and Italy – David Cameron and Matteo Renzi, as well as the head of the EC Donald Tusk.

The representative of the Downing street has also confirmed the statement of the U.S. White house that the US and the EU are ready for new sanctions in case of violations of the Minsk agreements.
“Leaders are unanimous in the opinion that any serious violation of the ceasefire for the Russian-backed separatists can lead to more serious sanctions,” he said.
