The Federation Council Committee on international Affairs will consider the possibility of going to the UN with a proposal to establish an international Tribunal for the murder of the population in Ukraine, this initiative was made on Wednesday at a meeting of the Federation Council Senator from Crimea Olga Cowicide.

In her opinion, if the world will ignore the crimes of Kiev, it will create a precedent for further unpunished repetition of similar events.
The government of Ukraine began in April last year in the Donbas power operation against dissatisfied with the coup d’etat in the region. According to the latest UN estimates, the victims of the conflict were almost 5,7 thousands of civilians. The problem of resolving the crisis in Ukraine is under negotiation in a variety of formats, in particular, during the meetings of the contact group in Minsk with the mediation of the Russian Federation and the OSCE. The next meeting of the contact group on 12 February resulted in the adoption of measures for implementation of the Minsk agreements, involving, in particular, the ceasefire in the Donbass February 15, withdrawal of heavy weapons and the creation of security zones. Soon after the announcement of the truce in the Donbass resumed shooting, parties blame each other in violation of the “silence mode” and claim that they only return fire. Kiev is considering an appeal to the UN and the EU on the introduction of Donbass peacekeepers.
