The lack of experience many basketball players “Zenit” prevented “blue-white-blue” to win in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the European Cup against “Khimki”, said the chief coach of the St. Petersburg Vasily Karasev.
The meeting, held Tuesday in St. Petersburg, ended with a score of 86:84 in favor of the visiting team. At the end of the match Zenit failed to implement three three-point shot.
Answering the journalist’s question, why the team at the end of the match did not try to play and tried to score a far shot, Karasev said that it is a matter of inexperience. “It’s an experience.
