“On Wednesday we will meet with Russian foreign Minister (Sergei) Lavrov. Next we are planning a meeting with a delegation from the Syrian government. And this is very important. Thus, we will lay the basis for a political settlement of the Syrian crisis and the beginning of an inter-Syrian dialogue,” he said.
According to him, during the meeting with the delegation of the government, the opposition will speak about the necessity of reaching an agreement “for the purpose of combating terrorism and democratic transition in Syria.” In addition, will be discussed humanitarian issues, for example, “return of refugees and the release of political prisoners.”
