The French foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said that taking into account the results of the meetings in Ukraine, which was held in Minsk, he sees no reason to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
“At the moment, in the current context, the strengthening of sanctions against Russia makes no sense,” said Fabius in the ether French news channel iTele.
He noted that if the talks in Minsk, there has been no agreement, the sanctions by the EU, of course, would have strengthened to increase the pressure on Moscow.
